In 2017, George Saxon, Lecturer in Fine Art at Coventry University and his course students formed a HOPE group. The students studied course transcripts, stats, feedback and worked with participants to jointly formulate their experiences through art. 'Dami' worked with Coventry cancer group and data from Macmillan Cancer Hope Programme. Artwork - From Despair to Hope A typographic artist book that uses both book form and content to narrate a journey from the Despair of cancer diagnosis to living a life of Hope as a cancer survivor.
