I am on the Autistic spectrum and have a condition PDD-NOS*. I tend to feel emotions as colours.
We go to the Isle of Wight a lot as a family.
We visited a place that was very hard to get to and was once the sight of a terrible plane crash in 1962. I spent some time there with my Mum, who is a photographer.
The whole area seemed to be tinged with such sadness and sorrow, despite being aesthetically beautiful. Just as we were leaving, I saw a rainbow appear over where the plane had crashed and took a photo on my phone.
It reminded me that although there was a terrible loss of life, that there were heroes that day and some passengers were saved thanks to them.
