Seren was diagnosed in December 2018 with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when she was just 6 years old.
She endured two and a half years in treatment finishing on 8th May 2021. The treatment was frightening, painful and relentless, leaving her feeling worse rather than better and bringing challenges no child should ever face.
Seren coped brilliantly during that ordeal, she was brave and bold and raised £36,000 for charity.
Art has always been Seren’s go-to activity both during hospital stays and while at home during periods of illness and isolation. Craft, design, painting, colour and collage all helped her to express her feelings and find joy. Seren is delighted to be included in the exhibition and hopes you enjoy the work on display.
