Rhabdomyosarcoma
Ben was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in 2018 and was stolen from us a year later after the treatment he received didn't work. He gained his superhero wings and now flies through space.
Ben stays with us forever in our hearts and leaves us signs wherever we go. Before diagnosis Ben was a bright, happy, cheeky boy, known as 'Bennis the Menace'. He remained the same despite the ongoing brutal effects of his chemotherapy treatment. Even when first diagnosed he wanted to Pass his Smile to other people to cheer them up. Pass The Smile was born.
Ben loved drawing, sticking and painting - especially rock painting. He was introduced to drawing on the iPad by Grandma Di and loved it - it combined his love of creativity with his love of screens. Precious memories.
